Tests that meet quality standards

Test creation is an essential part of the education process. A good test should not only measure knowledge but also align with learning objectives, final terms, and taxonomies.
With Test-Correct, teachers can easily and systematically develop assessments using various question types, dynamic question groups, and links to learning goals. This makes creating high-quality, well-balanced tests easier than ever.

Question groups: structure and differentiate better

Question groups help you quickly create balanced tests:

  • General question groups: bundle questions per topic or theme and add shared resources to all related questions at once.
  • Carousel question groups: mix questions from smart groups during test sessions and instantly generate unique versions for each student.

Test banks: share and reuse questions effectively

Test-Correct makes it easy to manage questions and collaborate:

  • Subject team collaboration: share and edit test questions with colleagues within your school or school group.
  • Central test banks: draw from a database of questions from final exams and/or publishers.
  • Smart filters: easily search by learning goal, taxonomy, difficulty level, or topic.

Link with learning goals, final terms, and taxonomies

Every test question can be directly linked to:

  • Learning goals: define which knowledge and skills are being assessed.
  • Final terms: ensure alignment with national or school-wide standards.
  • Taxonomies: categorize questions according to RTTI, Bloom’s Taxonomy, or other educational frameworks.

This gives teachers immediate insight into learning goal coverage and makes formative assessment easier.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import existing questions into Test-Correct?

You can import existing questions into Test-Correct in several ways:

  1. Upload an existing test to our Toetsenbakkerij. Our test creators will then digitize your questions for you, and these will be available in your Item Bank within Test-Correct.
  2. Digitize questions yourself directly in Test-Correct. You can do this in the test constructor, where you can choose the desired question type.
  3. Import questions from colleagues. If a subject colleague has already digitized a question in Test-Correct, it will also be available to you in your Item Bank. You only need to add it to your own test.
  4. Use Central Exam questions. Many CE questions have already been added by our test creators, including their associated taxonomies and learning goals. You can find these under the Tests tile in the National tab, ready to be included in your test.

Can multiple teachers collaborate on a shared test bank?

Yes, you can! All tests published by you or your colleagues are immediately visible to other members of your subject team.
This applies to both tests you create yourself in the test constructor and those digitized for you by our test creators.

These tests and questions appear in your Item Bank, which consists of both the Test Bank and Question Bank.
By collaborating with colleagues in Test-Correct, you can build a shared Item Bank together. The more tests you and your colleagues digitize, the larger your Item Bank becomes.
